Hip, hip hooray for Christmas vacation!
If you’re like me, you’re looking forward to spending Christmas break with your kids, but you might be a little overwhelmed at all of the extra time that you’ll be spending together without the usual structure and routine. Kids everywhere will be sure to be declaring, “I’m bored!” within hours (or minutes!) of being out of school.
I’m all about relaxing over Christmas break, but without some structure, my girls tend to either argue a lot or beg for screen time, screen time, and more screen time, which we like to keep to a minimum. And I don’t like to get to the end of the break and think of all the things I wish I had done.
But with a little advance planning, this Christmas break can be meaningful and fun with lots of rest and relaxation thrown in!
I’ve put together a printable to help you make a strategy for your days at home, as well as plan for fun times out with your family. I also included some links to sanity saving articles if you happen to hit some snags along the way.

I hope that this last week of Advent is filled with the wonder of our Savior’s birth, and that you have many moments of joy throughout!
