I just love a brunch, don’t you? Just the name makes me think of a bright mid-morning, celebrating a holiday or a milestone in life with friends while sharing delicious food. I’ve put together some of my favorite brunch recipes for you to enjoy with your family and friends. Over the years, I’ve prepared each of these recipes, most of them multiple times, with great results. Here is my ideal brunch menu.
To start things off, it wouldn’t be a brunch without an egg casserole, and this Ham and Cheese Quiche is amazing, especially because of its hashbrown crust.
Next on the list of brunch must-haves is fruit. I’ve made this Hot Fruit Bake recipe many times over the years and it’s a crowd-pleaser. It’s a sweet and fruity mix of oranges, apples, pears, and pineapple with a crunchy oat topping. I doubt you’ll have any leftovers!
Now you need a coffee cake, and this Cinnamon Breakfast Cake is perfect. It starts with the ease of a boxed cake mix, with add-ins like pudding and pecans that result in a moist, rich cake with big cinnamon flavor.
Add some creamy Cheese Grits and bacon or sausage (or both). Plus some fresh fruit and a veggie tray.
Serve a hot Spinach Artichoke Dip with crackers, or in a hollowed out Hawaiian loaf with torn bread for dipping. (This recipe takes me back – when I was in grad school, a restaurant on campus served a similar version – it is SO good).
And for the beverage, a delicious Fruit Tea flavored with lemon, pineapple and orange juices.
Now you’re all set to enjoy a fun-filled morning complete with dishes that will delight your friends and family. Enjoy!!
